SANSKRIT MANTRAS RECITED DURING DHARMA CAKRA (Collective Meditation)

The Mantra to begin the Collective Meditation

The following mantra is recited three times before the beginning of collective meditation.

Sam'gacchadhvam' sam'vadadhvam' sam'vomanām'si jānatām

Devābhāgam' yathāpųrve sam'jānāna upāsate

Samānii va a kųti samāna hrdayānivah

Samānamastu vo mano yathāvah susahāsati

Let us move together, let us radiate the same thought wave, let us come to know our minds together,

Let us share our wealth without differentiation, like sages of the past, so that all may enjoy the universe.

Let our aspirations be united, let our hearts be inseparable,

Let our minds be as one mind, so that we live in harmony and become one with the Supreme.

The Mantras to end the Collective Meditation

The following Mantra is recited once at the end of collective meditation:

"Nityam shuddham' nira'bha'sam' nira'ka'ram' nirainjanam

Nityabodham' cida'nandam' Gururbrahma nama'myaham."

To that eternal, pure, unconceivable, formless, absolutely unblemished, omniscient, blissful Brahma, in the form of Guru, I offer my salutations.

The following Mantra is recited three times after the recitation of the Nityam Shuddham mantra.

GURU PUJA

Akhan'd'ā Man'd'alākāram Vyāptam' Yena Carācaram,

Tatpadam' Darshitam' Yena Tasmae Shrii Gurave Namah.

Ajināna Timirāndhasya Jinānāinjana Shalākayā,

Caks'urunmiilitam' Yena Tasmae Shrii Gurave Namah,

Gurur Brahmā Gurur Vis'n'u Gurur devo Maheshvarah,

Gurureva Param' Brahma Tasmae Shrii Gurave Namah.

Salutations to that respected Guru having the form of an unbroken, undivided circle,

by whom the movable and immovable worlds are pervaded,

by whom the supreme stance of salvation is shown.

Salutations to that respected Guru

by whom the eyes of one blinded by the darkness of ignorance

are opened with a stick that applies the ointment of spiritual knowledge.

The Guru as Supreme Progenitor, the Guru as Guardian, the Guru as the one who has the withdrawing power,

the Guru who alone is the Supreme Subject - salutations to that respected Guru.

The following Mantra is recited once after the above.

`Tava dravyam' Jagatguro tubhyameva samarpaye.'

`Everything of mine, along with my mind, is offered at Your altar. Please oblige and accept it.'.
